The Best Night Vision Crossbow Scopes Review
All crossbow scopes are good. Each has pros and cons. I've done my best to describe these goods' features. I'll explain.
1. ATN X-Sight II Night Vision Crossbow Scope
ATN X-Sight-4K, 3-14x Pro Edition Smart Day/Night Hunting Scope
- Best use: Day & nighttime hunting
- Dimensions: 14 x 8 x 5 inches
- Weight: 4.4 pounds
- Specific features: 5-20x magnification, ballistic calculator, smart range finder, 1080p HD video recording & photos, Wi-Fi streaming, 3D Gyroscope, barometer, GPS, IOS & Android Apps
We like the ATN X-Sight II since it has many unique features.
It is less expensive than similar night vision crossbow scopes. It works for daytime and nighttime hunting, saving you money on two scopes.
The ballistic calculator on this scope was easy to use and helpful for advanced shots. Long-range and slanted shots were straightforward to adjust the impact point.I tested the smart range finder's two-click target distance detection.
I found it a tad slow, but that didn't stop me from buying the product. I liked that it automatically adjusted my point of impact after recognizing the range.
This product has 5–20X magnification, which worked for me but may not for you. I could softly adjust my magnification while shooting.
The ATN X-Sight II's 1080p feature and HD photos sold me. It streams Wi-Fi to phones and tablets. I liked that this feature was available, but I doubt I would utilize it. This wasn't on many scopes, so it was wonderful. I think this scope would be excellent for someone who wants to film their hunting adventures for friends and family because of the camera.
The ATN X-Sight II night vision crossbow scope is cool. Though I wouldn't utilize all of them, it's a good investment.
2. Firefield RapidStrike 1-6x24 SFP Riflescope Kit
Firefield RapidStrike 1-6x24 SFP Riflescope Kit
- Best use: Nighttime hunting
- Dimensions: 9 x 5 x 3 inches
- Weight: 2 pounds
- Specific features: 3x magnification, durable titanium body, quick detach weaver mount, built-in high power IR illuminator, incremental reticle brightness adjustment, weather-resistant
Our lightest scope was the Firefield FF16001 night vision crossbow scope at 2 pounds. Titanium, a lightweight metal, explains this.
Unfortunately, the magnification of this scope is low. This scope only has a 3x magnification, which isn't bad, but it would have been great if it had a wider range. This is a good deal at this price.
The Firefield FF16001 is a good beginner scope for hunters, although it may be better. The scope was simple and had some important features. It mounted easily on my crossbow and had good visual clarity.
This scope has a 50-hour battery life, but using IR cuts it to 20. For those who forget to charge their devices or go on long hunting expeditions, this battery life is ideal.
3. ATN Thor HD 384
ATN ThOR-HD 384 Thermal Rifle Scope
- Best use: Nighttime hunting
- Dimensions: 14 x 8 x 5 inches
- Weight: 2.8 pounds
- Specific features: Magnification 1.25-5x, 2-8x, 4.5-18x, & 9-36x, ballistic calculator, built-in smart rangefinder, high resolution HD video recording & photos, 384 x 288 sensor, recoil activated video (RAV), Wi-Fi streaming, iOS and Android apps, GPS
The ATN Thor HD 384 had the best magnification of all the night vision crossbow scopes on this page. This scope provided numerous alternatives for a more specific search.I wanted to try them all, but this scope is expensive, so I chose the 2-8x version.
The ballistic calculator and built-in smart rangefinder were simple. They were faster than the first scope. If you're using this scope for hunting, a few seconds can make a big difference.
This scope is also functional. Your phone can receive photos and movies via Wi-Fi. Many iOS and Android apps can also increase accuracy. Many calibration, target practice, and GPS apps are available.
The ATN Thor HD 384 is larger, which is a drawback. But I'd still buy. This 2.8-pound scope is lighter than several of the smaller scopes on this page.
This scope's quality and features are worth it. I recommend this one if you want a wider magnification range.
4. ATN X-Sight 4K
ATN X-Sight 4K Pro Smart Day/Night Hunting Scope
- Best use: Nighttime hunting
- Dimensions: 14.9 x 3 x 3 inches
- Weight: 2.2 pounds
- Specific features: 5-20x magnification, ultra HD 4K sensor, ballistic calculator, dual stream video recording, ultra low power profile, recoil activated video (RAV), E-compass, barometer, IOS & Android apps, 18+ hrs battery, 120fps video
We love the ATN X-Sight 4K for numerous reasons.
First, this night vision crossbow scope's compact profile makes it quite portable. I preferred the smaller, more compact scopes to the larger ones I tried. It didn't get caught as easily.
I'm impressed by this scope's quality. The 4K sensor made hunting more enjoyable, even if I didn't need it. The photographs were sharp and well-colored.
This scope's mobile device connectivity is great. This product allows simultaneous phone and scope recording. Live streaming in HD is stunning and would be great for hunting videos. This scope's recoil-activated video means you won't miss any cool shots.
This scope has a good battery life. Our tests confirmed its 18+-hour product.
I suggest this scope to archers of all experience levels. This scope's pricing is fantastic considering its quality.

Sightmark Photon Digital Night Vision Riflescope
- Best use: Nighttime hunting
- Dimensions: 14.9 x 3 x 3 inches
- Weight: 2.3 pounds
- Specific features: 4.6x magnification
The Sightmark SM18008 crossbow scope is really useful. It was ultra-slim and light.
Like the ATN X-Sight 4K, it was comfy and easy to forget. After adjusting the knob, the scope was straightforward to operate.
The night-vision crossbow scope's daytime performance was poor. Despite its decent image, many ATN scopes were clearer during the day. If you want a more adaptable daytime and nighttime hunting scope, try this.
The product description claims a 33% longer battery life, but I couldn't figure out how long. We tried it. The scope lasted 3–4 hours, but depending on the batteries, it could last longer. You could also disable it until you reach your goal. This scope brand has many "how-to" videos and instructions.
The Sightmark SM18008 is a decent nighttime hunting product. This scope was refreshingly simple and easy to use.
What Characteristics Characterize the Best Night Vision Crossbow Scope?
Many elements impact whether a scope improves performance. If you want to bring more game home, read about what makes a good scope.
Nighttime hunting requires high-quality night-vision crossbow scopes. Naturally, choosing the best item takes a lot of research and trial-and-error. We completed it for you. We put the best night vision scopes to the test:
- Durability
- Accuracy
- Clarity
- Magnification
- Battery life
- Heat sensitivity
Durability came first. When buying a scope, this may be the most crucial feature. Shooting at night brings various challenges that wouldn't normally be a concern during the day. We're more likely to trip at night due to poor visibility. This could ruin a delicate scope.
Night troubles increase. Lower temperatures increase moisture, which can hinder your gadget.
The scope's precision was next. A decent scope will increase your shot count. It will also save you money on broken or lost arrows and bolts.
Clarity also influenced our search. At night, a good scope is even more vital. No shooter likes poor visibility or a crooked scope. High-resolution imaging is crucial.
We then examined each scope's magnification. We examined optical and digital magnification. Digital magnification can be good, but low-quality scopes have difficulties. You could accidentally buy a scope with pixelated or unclear photos. Thus, we verified that all digital scopes on this list were HD or high-quality.
We also check battery life. Hunters often venture into isolated locations without electricity, so they need something that will last through the night. Hunting with a dead battery is frustrating.
Also, heat sensitivity Modern night vision crossbow scopes are often infrared (IR) or night vision (NV). NV uses light, but IR uses heat signatures, making it better for hunting. IR can see an animal under a bush, but NV cannot.
